The 38th Annual Kingston Women’s Art Festival

Sageleaf Whimsy at the Kingston Womens Art Festival

August 18, 2019
City Park, 10am-5pm

The Kingston Women’s Art Festival was started in the late 70’s by a group of women interested in promoting the work of women artists. The event has grown from its small roots to become a well-recognized and highly anticipated Kingston event. It now features over 200 artists, a full day of women’s music, dance and singer-songwriter performances, a silent auction, a children’s activity area, great food from local vendors, and over 4,000 visitors. The crowd is always representative of the whole community and many local residents make it an annual outing for the whole family.

Studio Tours at Sageleaf Whimsy

Building a stained glass sunOur studio is located just north of the village of Tamworth in Eastern Ontario’s cottage country. There are three annual studio tours around us, but they are all just a wee bit too far beyond where we are on the map to include us.And because one we’re often asked, “Where’s your studio?” and two, “How do you make stained glass stuff, anyway?”, we would like to give you an opportunity to visit and watch us in action, as well as to see what’s new at the studio, and to peruse the pieces we have here for sale. Please go to the contact page to make an appointment to visit us anytime. Our address: County Road 15 (Arden Road),
about 10 km north of Tamworth, Ontario. If you need more detailed information about any of our upcoming shows or to schedule a visit to our studio, please contact us.  Note: Tamworth is a lovely little community. If you’d like to make your trip to the studio a whole day adventure, please contact us and ask us to send you information about what else one can do while in Tamworth.
